ALTERNATIVE GIVING
Alternative giving is a simple solution to the age-old problem of what to buy someone as a present. Instead of getting something they don’t need and may never use, why not donate to WOMANKIND Worldwide on their behalf?
Whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary or at Christmas, we will send a card and certificate letting them know about the donation, with an example of how the donation may be used.
Or perhaps you could ask friends and family to make a donation to WOMANKIND instead of buying you gifts for a special occasion? WOMANKIND supporters Liz Jones and Mary Watson celebrated their 60th birthdays with a joint party and asked friends to give a donation to WOMANKIND in lieu of gifts. They raised a wonderful £850!
