School Workshop on Stopping Violence Against Women

The 16 days of Activism from the International day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, 25th November – International Human Rights Day, 10th December is a time period to actively campaign to Stop Violence Against Women. The White Ribbon Campaign has become a symbol of resistance around the world to stand up and stop violence against women.  The White Ribbon Campaign has received national and international support from both men and women. Many of our international partners in India, Peru, Zimbabwe, Ghana and South Africa and women's organisations globally organise events to raise the profile of the campaign and to break the silence about violence against women.

School Workshop on Stopping Sexual Bullying in Schools’

The 'Challenging Violence, Changing Lives' schools programme at WOMANKIND run a 'Stop Sexual Bullying in Schools' campaign and we would really like to collaborate with you to develop an active campaign run by and for young people in schools. We are developing and creating educational materials to look at and stop sexual bullying in schools. This year the UK Schools' programme is running a workshop and talking at the 'I Power I National Anti-Bullying Conference for Young People' we want to make this work available across the UK.

If you are interested in your school joining this campaign and Hannah running workshops in your school, get in contact with us as soon as possible.
