Grab Pots and Pans and Spoons and Make a Noise, written by Jackie Kay, Ali Smith and Jeanette Winterson, was inspired by the rousing words of a South African farmworker, who benefited from WOMANKIND’s work.
All those who have placed successful bids will be notified this week (w/e 19 December 2008). We’d like to express our thanks to everyone who took part in the auction, which will benefit the women WOMANKIND works with worldwide — and to reassure those who have missed out this time that there will be another opportunity to bid for copies in 2009.
