There are lots of ways in which joining together with Womankind Worldwide can help you as a company – for example, if you have lots of women customers or employees, you have a brand that is brave and challenging, or perhaps you do business in developing countries and need to meet global CSR requirements that include increasing the numbers of women in leadership positions.

Invest in the wellbeing of the countries you do business in

Womankind’s work focuses on empowering women to end violence and to play an active role in their communities.

Violence against women in the developing world, as in the UK, has a huge cost to business and sustainable development. By supporting our programmes to end violence your company will be making a social investment that will reap long-term rewards.

Global companies are also realizing that the lack of women in leadership positions, leads to organizations being less effective and representative. Womankind has a wide range of programmes that focus on increasing women’s leadership skills.

If we work in the same country, and you are interested in coming to see the projects we fund with a view to backing one financially, or even by giving time or equipment, we can arrange a visit.

Demonstrate your belief in women as people who can change the world

You can show all your stakeholders, especially your customers, the importance you place on women’s role in ending poverty and bringing about stability by featuring Womankind in your customer magazine, annual report and company intranet, or allowing us to insert a leaflet in your customer mailings.

Sponsor our events or advertising

Womankind has corporate sponsorship packages available for our annual lunch on the International Day to End Violence Against Women, November 25th, held at the Savoy Hotel in London.  In addition to offering advertising, our sponsorship packages include tickets that are a wonderful way to thank your key customers or reward and inspire staff  in the run-up to Christmas.

Perhaps you could sponsor our annual review, or offer free advertising space for our new press ads.

Inspire and involve your staff

We can provide you with a speaker who can tell your employees about how Womankind Worldwide is helping women come together to get things done in their communities, where women have long been sidelined and silenced.

Employee fundraising is a great way to get involved and reach out to women in other countries. We may also be able to offer volunteer opportunities in our office in London.
