Sally Smith asked friends and family at her Blitz- themed 70^th birthday party to make donations to Womankind instead of presents. She raised a fantastic £445!

Liz Jones and Mary Watson celebrated their 60th birthdays with a joint party and asked friends to give a donation to Womankind instead of gifts. They raised a wonderful £850!

‘We chose Womankind as we are both professional women who come from working class backgrounds. We were the first generation in both our families to go on to Higher Education. We feel that Womankind works hard to educate and thus empower women in developing countries.’
