Womankind provides volunteering opportunities to support the work of all our teams. Volunteers are involved in lots of different roles in our office.

Current Vacancies
New Media Volunteer: Love the web? Love women’s rights? We’re looking for a volunteer to support our digital communications work by helping to create and edit content, update Womankind’s website and engage supporters online using social media. Gala Events Volunteer:  Womankind are looking for a motivated volunteer to assist the team with preparations for our flagship fundraising event in November. The volunteer will be involved in all aspects of planning and implementing the event. The role offers an opportunity to develop skills in event planning, digital marketing, administration, and network building. The volunteer will learn about how a global women’s rights charity operates and will have opportunities to meet the women who are changing the world in Africa, Asia and Latin America within the context of the event preparation.  For further details please review our application pack and complete an application form and diversity form

Closing date for both roles: 9.00 am 17th May

What we offer volunteers:

• Firsthand experience of working in an international   development organisation
• An opportunity to develop skills and experience in a particular area such as programmactic work,  policy and advocacy, fundraising and communications
• An opportunity for training and development
• Volunteers will receive lunch and travel expenses
• Provide references on request.

What we expect from our volunteers

• A commitment of 2 – 3 days a week for no less than 3 months
• A commitment to Womankind’s values
