WOMANKIND Worldwide is a charity. We depend entirely on the individuals, organisations and Government departments who fund us.They enable us to work with women in developing countries, giving them the ability to transform their lives.
Individuals and organisations support us in different ways. Some ask for their money to be spent on a specific project in a specific country. Some ask for us to spend their money on core costs - so we can respond to an immediate and pressing need, to give us the space to try new things, develop and expand projects, provide a vital stop-gap lifeline to a project if a funder pulls out, carry out research and contribute to UK costs which are kept very tight.
Donations from individualsAll kinds of people from across the UK support WOMANKIND Worldwide. In 2004/05, they gave £251,617, in donations and through monthly gifts.

We received £221,916 from this source in 2004/05. However, Government ministers also exert priceless influence at international fora and on other countries' governments to push for better human rights for women.
