School in Cardiff
A group of young people from this school have worked closely with Hannah to develop a workshop that they delivered at the i-power-i conference in Weston-super-mare. They surveyed the school and found that 55% young women surveyed had experienced inappropriate touching and 30% young men. They developed role plays, posters, leaflets to raise awareness of the issue across the school and will be delivering the workshop to the year 7 students next term.
The group crested a role play that explored the impact of sexual bullying on a young woman. When rumors were spread around the school about her sex life by her female friend the young woman lost her friends, her boyfriend left her she stopped eating, and started failing in school.

Hannah White worked with a small group of young people to identify the issue of sexual bullying in the school and plan to develop strategies to stop it. The group consulted on the Code of Practice, commenting on the policy and exploring the issue. The school was then surveyed to discover people's experience of sexual bullying. It was identified that the young people in the school had a very low understanding of what sexual bullying is and how to stop it. The group is currently developing a workshop that they will deliver to the year 7 students next term to raise awareness of the issue and enable young people to challenge it.

The student support team at this school supported Hannah White's key note speech at the Cornwall Stop Sexual Bullying conference organized by Victim Support Cornwall and Cornwall's Children's Services Authority. They surveyed the school and found high levels of young women had been inappropriately touched up. Young men had also been inappropriately touched up and few surveyed knew any ways to stop this behavior. The team delivered a role play at the conference that outlined the issue of sexual bullying and highlighted the action that bystanders and the student support team can do to stop it.
