In the role of Director,  Programmes & Learning (DPL), Sarah is responsible for the strategic oversight, development, implementation, quality assurance and technical learning for all policy and programme activities. Sarah is responsible for ensuring that all our work on women’s rights is effective and achieves changes in women´s lives.

Sarah leads the Programmes & Learning team and works in close collaboration with the other Womankind Directors and the Chief Executive.

Sarah has over 20 years of experience of working with and within feminist organisations and networks including Women Living Under Muslim Laws (WLUML), the Women's Network of the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) and the Women's Rights Programme of the Association for Progressive Communications (APC). Prior to joining Womankind, Sarah worked at the international secretariat of Amnesty International.
