“Women everywhere should support each other.” Dolores, Womankind supporter

By working together we can have a greater impact on the lives of women and girls. Womankind’s Giving Circle is an innovative and effective way to collaborate with other supporters and see tangible results, faster.

Perhaps you are passionate about education, health or justice; or have a particular connection with the women of Ethiopia, or Bolivia; maybe a specific project – be it a safe house, or skills training – captures your interest. Now you can engage with issues that matter most to you – and join others to help make a difference.

How it works

Become part of a visionary group providing funding for pilot projects. Members join together to back a project, country or area of work that inspires them and club together to make it happen.

We’ll send your circle regular updates on what your giving is achieving. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the impact your support is having on women and girls first-hand, with a visit to your project.

What your funding can achieve

Empowering girls in Zambia

£4,800 can set up four new girls leadership clubs in Zambia for a year, giving 120 girls the knowledge and skills to challenge and report violence and the confidence to change their lives.

A safe place in Ethiopia

£28,750 can pay for a safe shelter in Ethiopia for a year, giving 25 women the medical support, accommodation, counselling and skills training they need to overcome the violence they’ve experienced, as well as helping to protect them by working with local schools, community leaders and the police.

Legal and emotional support in Peru

£9,430 can give 10 women who have experienced violence during the internal armed conflict in Peru intensive counselling and legal advice so they can take their cases to court and start to come to terms with their ordeal.
