The aim of Zambia National Women's Lobby (ZNWL) is to increase women's participation and representation in all kinds of government. They work on this in order to create a culture of gender equality and respect for women’s human rights.

ZNWL was established in 1991 and is a campaigning and leadership training organisation. It is not affiliated with any political party and has around 5,000 members spread across the country.

ZNWL builds women’s skills in campaigning and decision-making. The organisation is an active member of the national network of women’s organisations and spearheaded the influential Zambia Women’s Manifesto to advance women's human and political rights.

They hope to actively influence the development of Zambia, through training, campaigning and working with government. They hope to create a nation where women and girls are represented in leadership roles and are actively involved in all levels of government. ZNWL and Womankind are currently working together to empower female school students to become future leaders.
