FGM: Organisations offering advice and support

There are a number of useful materials available on the FGM pages of the NHS Choices website. This includes a video of women talking about their personal experiences of FGM.

The helpline (0800 028 3550) can support both professionals or family members concerned that a child is at risk of, or has had FGM.

Daughters of  Eve is a non profit organisation, that works to advance and protect the physical, mental, sexual and reproductive health rights of  young people from FGM practising communities.

UK-based charity dedicated to working with women who have been affected by FGM and other related difficulties.

A specialist service for women who have undergone FGM, run by the Health Advocacy Service in partnership with the Maya Centre and Manor Gardens, Islington, London.
