Stronger Together: The power of feminist programmes to strengthen women's movements in Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe

'Stronger Together' draws on evidence and learning from three innovative projects working with women’s movements:

1) Supporting the documentation of the eco-feminist movement in Uganda;
2) Pre-election feminist analysis and advocacy in Zimbabwe;
3) Young feminist convening in Kenya.

The project-focused case studies included in this paper demonstrate that, with an understanding of the capacities women’s movements need to function effectively and by turning these into deliberate programme approaches in work with women rights organisation and activists, diverse women’s movements can be stronger, more resilient and have collective power.
