This project will provide a safe and supportive environment for 14 women and girls with disabilities to engage in vocational training helping them achieve financial independence and improve their livelihoods.
By fostering economic opportunities, the program aims to enable these women to become self-reliant and contribute to their communities. In addition to vocational training, the project emphasizes psychological and emotional support for the participants. Through regular group gatherings, women will have the opportunity to connect, share their experiences, and receive guidance from a psychosocial officer. These sessions are designed to enhance self-confidence, foster a sense of empowerment, and provide much-needed psychological relief. Additionally, the project will offer physical therapy services to support both the vocational trainees and other women and girls with disabilities in the community, addressing their physical well-being alongside their mental health.
