How do you put feminism into action at Womankind?
As Director of Finance, People and Culture, I will put feminism into action by ensuring Womankind’s resources are used effectively in service of our partners and a feminist future. My leadership style is built on empathy and positive collaboration to ensure we are all collectively working together to deliver our strategy through equitable resources, accountable and transparent budgets and human-centred people operations. I believe in inclusivity where everyone is heard and valued.
Tell us about your feminist journey?
I was brought up by a strong and independent woman, my mother. This led me on a journey of using my expertise and knowledge to contribute to feminist work.
A feminist hero of yours?
My feminist heroes are my fellow colleagues, my mother, my wife and everyone walking the journey to advocate for the voices of everyone.
