The Afghan Women’s Resource Centre (AWRC) was established in August 1989 and is a women led organisation working in 7 provinces of Afghanistan with permanent offices in 3 provinces. AWRC has unique sustainability programmes where it offers education, services, economic empowerment, participation and coordination within a multipurpose centre arrangement for women and their children.
