Women in Politics Support Unit (WiPSU) seeks to increase women’s participation in policy and decision making in Zimbabwe.
They hold workshops to help women develop their leadership skills and contribute towards their professional development. As a result, WiPSU have successfully launched campaigns, such as the 2003 “Vote for a Woman Campaign” to increase female representation across all government bodies.
WiPSU has established community forums where women leaders and female constituents meet to discuss women’s issues. This makes sure that women’s voices are heard and their concerns are acted on.
